Mark Benjamin Huntley - Personal Finance Writer

Mark B. Huntley, a personal finance writer who regularly contributes to such publications as Forbes, is a former finance and consumer advocates attorney who lost everything in the real estate crash of the late 2000s. Credit Knocks was inspired by the trials of his credit building experience and the desire to help others understand the easy steps necessary to improve one's credit score.

Even as a kid, I found myself sticking up for the underrepresented and the unfairly treated. Today, as a former finance and consumer advocate attorney, I work to help 1/3rd of the U.S., who have a subprime credit score, find financial power and freedom by improving their credit through better understanding. I lost everything in the market crash of the late 2000s as I was heavily invested in real estate development. I speak from personal documented experiences on what are the best credit tools to improve your credit.

My passion is for advocacy of the under represented. When I was a practicing attorney, I represented thousands of clients in financial matters, including; real estate transactions, commercial tradelines, fair credit violations, and bankruptcy alternative counseling. I have been fortunate enough to work with orphanages in Mexico, volunteer to be children's mentor, a lobbyist and an executive board member for Habitat for Humanity, and have provided countless hours of pro-bono work for animal rights causes.  Credit Knocks is the latest extension of my advocacy work from a unique personal self-help perspective. I have a Juris Doctorate from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Faulkner University. I am a proud father, avid outdoors-man, and lover of animals. I am available to discuss topics regarding credit rehabilitation, blogging, online marketing, SEO and reptiles; for online published interviews, podcasts and guest posting.
